"Went on a busy Saturday to taste a range of dishes, they were all very tasty and flavourful. Tried all the dumplings and fillings were so juicy. My personal favourites were the prawn dumpling, dim sum and beef and kimchi dumplings. MUST ORDER (or ask for it) is the Singapore chilli crab sauce with baos/mantou. For mains, the beef rendang is a very generous portion. I think all the noodle dishes we had were excellent: seafood wat tan hor, sambal squid and prawn mee hoon and beef Kway teow. All very flavourful with a great umami sambal sauce. Service was fast and friendly. I would recommend this place !"

"Tasty Malaysian food. We had the char siu dry noodles, Sarawak laksa, yong tofu noodle soup, and dumplings. The homemade char siu was especially good. Portions were a good size. Tasted authentic to me."

"2025 Update: Equally recommend eat in & delivery options. Quality is great. Singapore Seafood Laksa & Noodles has great spice and perfectly cooked seafood. Not sure if they hand make the noodles in house but love the noodles especially in this dish. Love that the laksa is packaged separately to the noodles and seafood for delivery Honey Charsiew Pork w/ tossed noodles & fried Wanton is tender & not too sweet. A brilliant combination of flavours. the Pork & Cabbage dumplings are some of the best you will ever have. A thin skin, lightly crisp and juicy inside. "Nice, quiet little place in O’Connell serving great food for a great price. The only thing I knocked off a star for was they don’t offer table (tap) water which I found a bit odd, we had to purchase bottled drinks from the fridge. Food ordered: mantou dish with this amazing sauce on top, soup dumplings, honey charsiu pork, chicken curry (on special). Everything was very good and thorough enjoyed, favourite probably being the honey charsiu. Would defiantly come back again, hoping they will start offering table water though!"

"Lucky Dumpling and Noodle in North Adelaide is an absolute gem. My husband and I ventured in, longing for a taste of Hainanese chicken rice, and what a delight it was! Every bite sang with flavour, perfectly balanced and utterly satisfying. The price? Remarkably reasonable, the best value I’ve seen in ages for this dish and portion size was generous. The restaurant had a lovely, calm buzz to it; busy enough to show its popularity but not overwhelming. The atmosphere was serene, a perfect setting to savour the meal. The food arrived astonishingly fast, and each mouthful was a testament to their skill in the kitchen. The staff were warm and welcoming, adding to the charm of this spot. I’ve found my new favourite place for Hainanese chicken rice, and I can’t wait to return. Lucky Dumpling and Noodle, you’ve truly set the bar high. Five well deserved stars!"
